| arch/x86/kvm/mmu/paging_tmpl.h in the Linux kernel before 5.12.11 incorrectly computes the access permissions of a shadow page, leading to a missing guest protection page fault. | ||||
| CVE-2021-38166 | 3 Debian, Fedoraproject, Linux | 3 Debian Linux, Fedora, Linux Kernel | 2026-10-08 | 7.8 High |
| In kernel/bpf/hashtab.c in the Linux kernel through 5.13.8, there is an integer overflow and out-of-bounds write when many elements are placed in a single bucket. NOTE: exploitation might be impractical without the CAP_SYS_ADMIN capability. | ||||
| CVE-2021-36090 | 4 Apache, Netapp, Oracle and 1 more | 36 Commons Compress, Active Iq Unified Manager, Oncommand Insight and 33 more | 2026-10-08 | 7.5 High |
| When reading a specially crafted ZIP archive, Compress can be made to allocate large amounts of memory that finally leads to an out of memory error even for very small inputs. This could be used to mount a denial of service attack against services that use Compress' zip package. | ||||
| CVE-2021-24122 | 4 Apache, Debian, Oracle and 1 more | 6 Tomcat, Debian Linux, Agile Product Lifecycle Management and 3 more | 2026-10-08 | 5.9 Medium |
| When serving resources from a network location using the NTFS file system, Apache Tomcat versions 10.0.0-M1 to 10.0.0-M9, 9.0.0.M1 to 9.0.39, 8.5.0 to 8.5.59 and 7.0.0 to 7.0.106 were susceptible to JSP source code disclosure in some configurations. The root cause was the unexpected behaviour of the JRE API File.getCanonicalPath() which in turn was caused by the inconsistent behaviour of the Windows API (FindFirstFileW) in some circumstances. | ||||
| CVE-2020-28097 | 2 Linux, Netapp | 18 Linux Kernel, Cloud Backup, H300e and 15 more | 2026-10-08 | 5.9 Medium |
| The vgacon subsystem in the Linux kernel before 5.8.10 mishandles software scrollback. There is a vgacon_scrolldelta out-of-bounds read, aka CID-973c096f6a85. | ||||
| CVE-2020-14390 | 2 Debian, Linux | 2 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel | 2026-10-08 | 5.6 Medium |
| A flaw was found in the Linux kernel in versions before 5.9-rc6. When changing screen size, an out-of-bounds memory write can occur leading to memory corruption or a denial of service. Due to the nature of the flaw, privilege escalation cannot be fully ruled out. | ||||
| CVE-2020-12358 | 3 Intel, Netapp, Siemens | 548 Bios, Core I3-l13g4, Core I5-l16g7 and 545 more | 2026-10-08 | 4.4 Medium |
| Out of bounds write in the firmware for some Intel(R) Processors may allow a privileged user to potentially enable denial of service via local access. | ||||
| CVE-2020-10781 | 2 Debian, Linux | 2 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel | 2026-10-08 | 5.5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in the Linux Kernel before 5.8-rc6 in the ZRAM kernel module, where a user with a local account and the ability to read the /sys/class/zram-control/hot_add file can create ZRAM device nodes in the /dev/ directory. This read allocates kernel memory and is not accounted for a user that triggers the creation of that ZRAM device. With this vulnerability, continually reading the device may consume a large amount of system memory and cause the Out-of-Memory (OOM) killer to activate and terminate random userspace processes, possibly making the system inoperable. | ||||
| CVE-2020-0570 | 2 Qt, Redhat | 2 Qt, Enterprise Linux | 2026-10-08 | 7.3 High |
| Uncontrolled search path in the QT Library before 5.14.0, 5.12.7 and 5.9.10 may allow an authenticated user to potentially enable elevation of privilege via local access. | ||||
| CVE-2019-20794 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-08 | 4.7 Medium |
| An issue was discovered in the Linux kernel 4.18 through 5.6.11 when unprivileged user namespaces are allowed. A user can create their own PID namespace, and mount a FUSE filesystem. Upon interaction with this FUSE filesystem, if the userspace component is terminated via a kill of the PID namespace's pid 1, it will result in a hung task, and resources being permanently locked up until system reboot. This can result in resource exhaustion. | ||||
| CVE-2019-20095 | 4 Linux, Netapp, Opensuse and 1 more | 21 Linux Kernel, 8300, 8300 Firmware and 18 more | 2026-10-08 | 5.5 Medium |
| mwifiex_tm_cmd in drivers/net/wireless/marvell/mwifiex/cfg80211.c in the Linux kernel before 5.1.6 has some error-handling cases that did not free allocated hostcmd memory, aka CID-003b686ace82. This will cause a memory leak and denial of service. | ||||
| CVE-2019-16866 | 2 Canonical, Nlnetlabs | 2 Ubuntu Linux, Unbound | 2026-10-08 | 7.5 High |
| Unbound before 1.9.4 accesses uninitialized memory, which allows remote attackers to trigger a crash via a crafted NOTIFY query. The source IP address of the query must match an access-control rule. | ||||
| CVE-2019-14250 | 3 Canonical, Gnu, Opensuse | 3 Ubuntu Linux, Binutils, Leap | 2026-10-08 | 5.5 Medium |
| An issue was discovered in GNU libiberty, as distributed in GNU Binutils 2.32. simple_object_elf_match in simple-object-elf.c does not check for a zero shstrndx value, leading to an integer overflow and resultant heap-based buffer overflow. | ||||
| CVE-2018-1000802 | 4 Canonical, Debian, Opensuse and 1 more | 4 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Leap and 1 more | 2026-10-08 | 9.8 Critical |
| Python Software Foundation Python (CPython) version 2.7 contains a CWE-77: Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in a Command ('Command Injection') vulnerability in shutil module (make_archive function) that can result in Denial of service, Information gain via injection of arbitrary files on the system or entire drive. This attack appear to be exploitable via Passage of unfiltered user input to the function. This vulnerability appears to have been fixed in after commit add531a1e55b0a739b0f42582f1c9747e5649ace. | ||||
| CVE-2018-1000030 | 2 Canonical, Python | 2 Ubuntu Linux, Python | 2026-10-08 | 3.6 Low |
| Python 2.7.14 is vulnerable to a Heap-Buffer-Overflow as well as a Heap-Use-After-Free. Python versions prior to 2.7.14 may also be vulnerable and it appears that Python 2.7.17 and prior may also be vulnerable however this has not been confirmed. The vulnerability lies when multiply threads are handling large amounts of data. In both cases there is essentially a race condition that occurs. For the Heap-Buffer-Overflow, Thread 2 is creating the size for a buffer, but Thread1 is already writing to the buffer without knowing how much to write. So when a large amount of data is being processed, it is very easy to cause memory corruption using a Heap-Buffer-Overflow. As for the Use-After-Free, Thread3->Malloc->Thread1->Free's->Thread2-Re-uses-Free'd Memory. The PSRT has stated that this is not a security vulnerability due to the fact that the attacker must be able to run code, however in some situations, such as function as a service, this vulnerability can potentially be used by an attacker to violate a trust boundary, as such the DWF feels this issue deserves a CVE. | ||||
| CVE-2013-7285 | 4 Apache, Oracle, Redhat and 1 more | 17 Activemq, Endeca Information Discovery Studio, Fuse Esb Enterprise and 14 more | 2026-10-08 | 9.8 Critical |
| Xstream API versions up to 1.4.6 and version 1.4.10, if the security framework has not been initialized, may allow a remote attacker to run arbitrary shell commands by manipulating the processed input stream when unmarshaling XML or any supported format. e.g. JSON. | ||||
| CVE-2026-93858 | 1 Openstack | 1 Mistral | 2026-10-08 | 8.8 High |
| In OpenStack Mistral through 23.0.0, the std.ssh_proxied action passes a caller-supplied proxy_command value directly to paramiko.ProxyCommand() before any SSH connection to a gateway or target host is attempted. An authenticated project member can use the standard action-execution API to submit an arbitrary local command as proxy_command; paramiko starts that command as a subprocess on the executor host under the executor's own service account, independent of whether the SSH connection itself ever succeeds. Only Mistral deployments that permit the std.ssh_proxied action, the default configuration, are affected. | ||||
| CVE-2026-44036 | 1 Offis | 1 Dcmtk | 2026-10-08 | 5.5 Medium |
| Uncontrolled mutual recursion between DcmXMLParseHelper::parseDataSet() and DcmXMLParseHelper::parseSequence() in the XML-to-DICOM converter (dcmdata/libdcxml/xml2dcm.cc) of OFFIS DCMTK 3.7.0 allows an attacker to cause a denial of service (stack exhaustion and process crash) via a crafted XML file with deeply nested sequence and item elements. The xml2dcm tool and any service that converts untrusted XML to DICOM with this code are affected. The issue is fixed in commit 87f256d73e30656a822bf7d76d1cf1d9bb693954. | ||||
| CVE-2026-44037 | 1 Offis | 1 Dcmtk | 2026-10-08 | 5.5 Medium |
| Uncontrolled mutual recursion between DcmJSONReader::parseDataSet(), DcmJSONReader::parseElement() and DcmJSONReader::parseSequence() in dcmdata/libsrc/dcjsonrd.cc of OFFIS DCMTK 3.7.0 allows an attacker to cause a denial of service (stack exhaustion and process crash) via a crafted DICOM JSON document with deeply nested sequence (SQ) values. The json2dcm tool and any service that converts untrusted DICOM JSON (for example, DICOMweb payloads) with this reader are affected. The issue is fixed in commit cf955e64c35a1e07ba10698f639d5dcdec53b9d7. | ||||
| CVE-2026-44035 | 1 Offis | 1 Dcmtk | 2026-10-08 | 5.5 Medium |
| Uncontrolled recursion in DcmDicomDir::moveRecordToTree() in dcmdata/libsrc/dcdicdir.cc of OFFIS DCMTK 3.7.0 allows an attacker to cause a denial of service (stack exhaustion and process crash) via a crafted DICOMDIR file with a deeply chained sequence of directory records linked through the Offset of Referenced Lower-Level Directory Entity attribute. Any application that opens the DICOMDIR is affected, including dcmgpdir and media viewers built on DCMTK. The issue is fixed in commit ca761f7f3dcaaddaa95be87cf5d736138d7c3a9f. | ||||
