CVSS v3.1 |
The Appointment Booking Calendar — Simply Schedule Appointments Booking Plugin plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Incorrect Authorization in all versions up to, and including, 1.6.11.11. This is due to the appointment update REST API endpoint not restricting which fields can be modified by token-authenticated customers. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to modify admin-controlled fields on that appointment, including faking payment confirmation, reassigning the appointment to another user, and changing the service type.
The Squadeno WordPress plugin before 1.12.0 does not enforce its restrictions on every way a sport can be saved, allowing users with the lowest-tier Trainer role to change the section, age group, author, password, comment settings and date of a sport they are assigned to.
Corteza through 2024.9.10 contains an incorrect authorization vulnerability in compose attachment endpoints that allows unauthenticated attackers to download private attachments by setting the URL kind segment to page, icon, or namespace. Attackers who know a private record or module attachment id can request the original or preview route without a token or signature to retrieve files across namespace and record permission boundaries.
Backstage is an open framework for building developer portals. Prior to 0.21.9, the @backstage/plugin-kubernetes-backend package is affected by sensitive information disclosure in kubernetes resource queries. An authenticated user holding the standard Kubernetes resource read permission could retrieve sensitive values that the Kubernetes plugin is designed to mask, potentially exposing credentials and other confidential material held in the connected clusters. Exposure is limited to resources that the Backstage service account is permitted to read and that match the targeted catalog entity's namespace and label selector. Deployments whose cluster credentials do not grant read access to these resources are unaffected. This issue is fixed in version 0.21.9.
Backstage is an open framework for building developer portals. Prior to 2.1.6 in @backstage/plugin-search-backend and 1.8.7 in @backstage/plugin-search-backend-module-elasticsearch, search engine permission filtering could return documents denied by policy. An authenticated Backstage user subject to a DENY policy for search document types could receive unauthorized results in deployments with permission.enabled set to true and an Elasticsearch or OpenSearch backend. This issue is fixed in @backstage/plugin-search-backend 2.1.6 and @backstage/plugin-search-backend-module-elasticsearch 1.8.7.
pacioli provides least-privilege governance and a governed agent broker for ERPNext. From version 0.9.6 until version 0.10.0, the pacioli-guard document-layer consent gate allows nested cancellation operations to ride any consent established by an enclosing governed act without checking whether the marker authorizes cancellation. A credential with API Key Scope.require_consent can submit a caller-controlled Sales Invoice or other supported document under a valid human-minted submit marker and reach Document.cancel() for a different pre-existing submitted document, bypassing the marker's document and act binding, single-use spend, and denial audit. The unauthorized cancellation can reverse the target document's ledger effect; principals without a consent-gated grant are not affected. This issue is fixed in version 0.10.0.
SkillHub before 0.2.22 contains an incorrect authorization vulnerability in AccountMergeService and AccountMergeController that allows authenticated attackers to take over other accounts by abusing the merge flow. Attackers can call the merge initiate endpoint with a target username or OAuth identity, receive the verification token directly, and confirm the merge to inherit the victim's API tokens, roles and namespace ownership.
1MCP Agent (@1mcp/agent) 0.20.0 through 0.39.0 contains an incorrect authorization vulnerability that allows authenticated clients to bypass OAuth tag-scope enforcement using negated advanced tag-filter expressions. Attackers holding a single-tag token can send a filter like not <granted-tag> to list and invoke tools on backend MCP servers outside their granted scopes.
Phi 0.3.0 through 0.28.4 contains a permission bypass vulnerability that allows spawned sub-agents to escape workspace_only_writes and readonly mode by supplying an unchecked workdir to agent_spawn. Attackers can plant prompt-injected instructions in processed content so the agent spawns a worker rooted elsewhere, causing unapproved file writes anywhere the user can write.
Tabularis through 0.27.0 contains an incorrect authorization vulnerability in the MCP run_query safety gate that allows prompt-injected agents or untrusted MCP clients to bypass read-only mode by submitting side-effecting SELECT statements. Attackers can run statements like SELECT setval, nextval, or PostgreSQL query_to_xml with embedded DELETE to modify data without approval prompts.
MultiVendorX WordPress plugin through 5.0.19 contains an incorrect authorization vulnerability that allows vendor accounts to modify marketplace-wide settings via the settings REST endpoint. Attackers with the store_owner role can send POST requests to /wp-json/multivendorx/v1/settings, gated only by edit_stores, to overwrite commission, payout, and onboarding settings.
Vearch 3.5.2 through 3.5.9 contains an incorrect authorization vulnerability in Role.HasPermissionForResources that ignores stored ReadOnly or None privilege levels for resources listed in a role. Authenticated non-root users can upsert and delete documents with read-only access, or call PUT /roles to grant their role WriteRead privileges, escalating toward cluster administrator access.
Plastic Labs Honcho through 3.3.0 contains an incorrect authorization vulnerability that allows peer- or session-scoped API key holders to read workspace data because get_or_create_workspace checks only the workspace claim. Attackers can submit their parent workspace name to the POST /v3/workspaces endpoint to retrieve workspace metadata and configuration, including custom_instructions, reserved for workspace or admin keys.
The Fundiin cho WooCommerce WordPress plugin through 3.4.0 does not have proper authorisation on several of its REST API routes, relying instead on a credential that is identical on every installation, allowing unauthenticated attackers to disclose the store's payment credentials and customer order data, overwrite the payment gateway configuration so that payments are credited elsewhere, and mark unpaid orders as paid. The same missing authorisation also allows arbitrary script to be stored in a field which is output unescaped on the classic checkout, leading to unauthenticated stored XSS on stores that do not use the block-based checkout.
Strawberry GraphQL is a library for creating GraphQL APIs. From 0.217.0 until 0.326.1, PermissionExtension.resolve() on a synchronous field resolver evaluates the result of has_permission() for truthiness. When a custom permission declares has_permission() as a normal function but returns an awaitable, supports_sync does not classify it as asynchronous, the awaitable is not awaited, and its inherently truthy object value permits the protected resolver to run even when the result would resolve to false. This affects synchronous field resolvers under both execute_sync() and execute(); permissions declared with async def has_permission() and synchronous permissions returning a boolean are not affected. This issue is fixed in version 0.326.1.
Dell Secure Connect Gateway (SCG) Policy Manager, versions prior to 5.34.00.16, contains an Incorrect Authorization vulnerability. A high privileged attacker with remote access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to Elevation of privileges and Unauthorized access.
Strapi 5.47.0 through 5.57.0 contains an improper authorization vulnerability that allows admin API tokens to retain all-field Content Manager access after the owner's role is field-restricted. Because reconcileTokenPermissionsToUserCeiling ignores token permissions with omitted or null fields, token holders can keep reading content fields an administrator removed from the role.
The Portfolio Filter Gallery WordPress plugin before 2.2.1 does not perform proper authorization checks in a set of AJAX actions, allowing users with at least the Contributor role to read, modify and delete other users' galleries as well as site-wide gallery filters.
In Splunk Enterprise versions below 10.4.2, 10.2.6, 10.0.10, and 9.4.15, a user who does not hold the "admin" or "power" Splunk roles could create or edit scripted lookup definitions through raw configuration endpoints. The vulnerability is possible because raw transforms configuration write paths do not apply external lookup capability checks before saving scripted lookup settings.
Incorrect authorization in Passwords in Google Chrome on on iOS prior to 155.0.8059.39 allowed a remote attacker to bypass web origin policy via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium)
