CVE-2026-107655 2 Cups, Redhat 3 Cups, Enterprise Linux, Hummingbird 2026-10-12 4 Medium
A flaw was found in CUPS. When processing embedded job ticket comments within documents, the service improperly handles specific IPP attributes, causing an unhandled null pointer dereference. An unauthenticated attacker permitted to submit jobs to a shared printer queue can send a crafted Internet Printing Protocol (IPP) request to crash the print daemon, resulting in a temporary Denial of Service (DoS) for all printing services.
CVE-2026-109280 1 Imagemagick 1 Imagemagick 2026-10-12 2.5 Low
ImageMagick 7.1.0-20 before 7.1.2-32 contains a use after free vulnerability in the -fx option that occurs when a memory allocation fails during a specific operation. Attackers who can supply crafted -fx expressions under memory pressure can trigger freed memory access, causing crashes or memory corruption.
CVE-2026-109258 1 Imagemagick 1 Imagemagick 2026-10-12 2.5 Low
ImageMagick 7.1.0-20 before 7.1.2-32 contains an invalid memory free vulnerability in the fx operation that occurs when initialization of an FX runtime entry fails. Attackers can trigger the failed FX runtime initialization to cause an invalid free, resulting in memory corruption and application crashes.
CVE-2026-109272 1 Imagemagick 1 Imagemagick 2026-10-12 3.7 Low
ImageMagick 7.1.1-31 before 7.1.2-32 contains a NULL pointer dereference in the PostScript decoder that is triggered when a policy limit is reached. Attackers can supply a crafted PostScript file for processing to crash the application, causing a denial of service.
CVE-2026-109252 1 Freerdp 1 Freerdp 2026-10-12 5.3 Medium
FreeRDP from 3.9.0 before 3.32.0 contains a NULL pointer dereference vulnerability in the RDPEAR NDR reader that allows malicious servers to crash clients via truncated KERB_RPC_INTERNAL_NAME data. Attackers can send a CreateApReqAuthenticatorReq with NameCount of two or more ending before the Names pointer, causing cleanup to dereference a null base and terminate the client.
CVE-2026-109241 1 Freerdp 1 Freerdp 2026-10-12 3.1 Low
FreeRDP before 3.32.0 contains a NULL pointer dereference vulnerability in the client video redirection channel that allows malicious servers to crash clients by sending out-of-order messages. Attackers can send a Geometry CLEAR message that nulls presentation->geometry, then send VideoData that dereferences it, causing client denial of service.
CVE-2026-19737 1 Zephyrproject 1 Zephyr 2026-10-11 5.5 Medium
i2s_esp32_trigger_check() in drivers/i2s/i2s_esp32.c validates the requested direction only for I2S_DIR_BOTH. The I2S_DIR_RX and I2S_DIR_TX branches read dev_cfg->rx.data->configured / dev_cfg->tx.data->configured without first checking the stream pointers. The device instantiation macro I2S_ESP32_STREAM_INIT() sets both .conf and .data to NULL for a direction the devicetree does not describe, so on an instance that wires only one direction — the normal shape for audio output or a worldsemi,ws2812-i2s LED strip — the other direction dereferences a NULL pointer instead of returning an error. i2s_trigger() is a Zephyr syscall, and z_vrfy_i2s_trigger() in drivers/i2s/i2s_handlers.c validates only the device object and the presence of the trigger API pointer; the dir argument is passed to the driver unvalidated. On a build with CONFIG_USERSPACE enabled, a user-mode thread that has been granted the I2S device can issue a single i2s_trigger() call naming the unwired direction and cause a load from address 0 in kernel mode. Among the Espressif parts that carry this driver, userspace is available in-tree only on RISC-V SoCs with CONFIG_RISCV_PMP, and v4.4.0 is the first release where that is buildable: the ESP32-C6 HPCORE selects RISCV_PMP when it is not built for MCUboot. ESP32-C5 in v4.4.x carries the same PMP-region and userspace linker support but does not select RISCV_PMP by default. Espressif Xtensa targets do not support Zephyr userspace, and in a non-userspace build the bad direction can only come from in-kernel application code. The impact is limited to availability: the access is a read at offset 0 of the missing stream structure, so there is no attacker-controlled offset, no write primitive and no information disclosure. With the default fatal-error handler the resulting exception halts the system, giving an unprivileged user-mode thread a system-wide denial of service. The fix adds the same pointer check the I2S_DIR_BOTH branch already performed and returns -ENOSYS for a direction the instance does not implement; the driver's other entry points (i2s_esp32_config_check(), i2s_esp32_config_get(), i2s_esp32_read(), i2s_esp32_write()) already guarded the pointers, and a static audit found no equivalent unguarded path. The driver defect is older than the affected range. The unguarded dereference is present from v4.2.0 (reached through i2s_esp32_trigger_stream(), whose if (stream) guard tests the address of a struct member and is never false) and takes its present i2s_esp32_trigger_check() form in v4.3.0. No in-tree Espressif configuration before v4.4.0 can run a user-mode thread, so in v4.2.x and v4.3.x the direction argument can only come from trusted kernel code. Those releases carry the bug but are not listed as affected; the fix has also been merged to v4.3-branch as hardening.
CVE-2026-104629 1 Grid Protection Alliance 2 Openhistorian, Openpdc 2026-10-11 8.8 High
A component loading mechanism in openPDC and openHistorian will construct and run any specified type, which may be an invalid component to load. An attacker with an authenticated user account and the ability to place a file on the host filesystem can use this to run arbitrary constructor code, and this code runs with the privileges of the affected service account.
CVE-2026-16165 1 Ibm 4 Datapower Gateway 1050, Datapower Gateway 1060, Datapower Gateway 106cd and 1 more 2026-10-10 7.5 High

CVE-2026-107169 1 Redhat 1 Enterprise Linux 2026-10-10 6.2 Medium
A flaw was found in m17n-lib. An attacker could provide specially crafted or truncated UTF-8 input to trigger an unhandled null pointer dereference during text processing. This issue causes the application to crash unexpectedly, resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS).
CVE-2026-98228 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-10 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mips: select CONFIG_WEAK_REORDERING_BEYOND_LLSC from CONFIG_EYEQ On I6500 CPU cores, lld and scd give no ordering guarantees (same as all other instructions). To respect the assumption that arch_cmpxchg() is fully ordered, we must inject sync instructions above and below our lld/scd loops using the already in place WEAK_REORDERING_BEYOND_LLSC infrastructure. CVE-2026-108093 2 Gimp, Redhat 2 Gimp, Enterprise Linux 2026-10-09 5.5 Medium
A flaw was found in GIMP. The XCF loader processes image-simulation-intent and image-simulation-bpc parasites without ensuring the parasite data is present before dereferencing it. Opening a specially crafted XCF file with a zero-size simulation parasite can cause a NULL pointer dereference and crash the GIMP application.
CVE-2026-104114 2 Illumos, Omnios 2 Illumos-gate, Omnios 2026-10-09 N/A
A NULL pointer dereference in the illumos Network Auto-Magic daemon (nwamd) allows a local user to crash the daemon. nwamd_door_switch() in usr/src/cmd/cmd-inet/lib/nwamd/door_if.c writes to the caller's request structure before checking that a request was supplied, and before checking the caller's credentials. Because the nwamd door at /etc/svc/volatile/nwam/nwam_door is accessible to all local users, an unprivileged user can issue a door_call() with no argument data to crash nwamd; repeated calls place the svc:/network/physical:nwam service into maintenance, stopping automatic network configuration. nwamd runs only when svc:/network/physical:nwam is enabled, which is not the default. The flaw has existed since 2010 (illumos-gate commit 6ba597c5), and affects any illumos distribution prior to illumos-gate commit 0f1064d9.
CVE-2026-108063 1 Redhat 1 Enterprise Linux 2026-10-09 5.5 Medium
A flaw was found in libhangul. When parsing Hanja dictionary files, the library fails to verify that an entry contains a valid value alongside its key. By providing a specially crafted dictionary file to an application that queries it, an attacker can trigger an unexpected application crash, resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS).
CVE-2026-107890 1 Openprinting 1 Cups 2026-10-09 3.3 Low
OpenPrinting CUPS before 2.4.20 contains a NULL pointer dereference caused by repeated IPP group tags in job-creation requests. IPP parsing creates unnamed separator attributes with IPP_TAG_ZERO, but add_job() converts these separators to IPP_TAG_JOB. During job startup, get_options()/ipp_length() subsequently calls strlen() on a NULL attribute name, terminating cupsd and disrupting all queues. A single crafted Print-Job request can trigger the crash when the client can reach the scheduler and submit jobs to an accepting, enabled queue supporting the submitted document format. Anonymous submission is possible when permitted by listener and access-control configuration.
CVE-2026-107888 1 Openprinting 1 Cups 2026-10-09 5.1 Medium
OpenPrinting CUPS before 2.4.20 contains a NULL pointer dereference in cupsdCheckJobs() when a job marked job-held-on-create refers to a temporary printer that has been automatically deleted. Temporary-printer cleanup can remove the destination without canceling its held jobs, and the scheduler dereferences the NULL result of cupsdFindDest() while checking holding_new_jobs. This terminates cupsd and interrupts all queues managed by that process. In some plausible scenarios, an unprivileged submission can trigger this.
CVE-2026-107778 1 Mit 1 Kerberos 5 2026-10-09 6.5 Medium
MIT Kerberos 5 (krb5) through 1.22.2 contains a NULL pointer dereference in make_cred_list() in rd_cred.c that allows authenticated Kerberos clients to crash services by sending mismatched KRB-CRED arrays. Attackers can send forwarded credentials with more tickets than ticket_info entries through gss_accept_sec_context() to crash GSS-API acceptor services, causing denial of service.
CVE-2026-98379 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-09 7.0 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: ip6t_rpfilter: reject routes without inet6_dev ip6_route_lookup() can return an error-free route whose rt6i_idev is NULL. Lowering an external nexthop device's MTU below IPV6_MIN_MTU tears down its inet6_dev while fib6_ifdown() leaves routes using nexthop objects in the FIB. An unprivileged user can construct this state with rtnetlink in a private user and network namespace, then trigger a NULL dereference through an IPv6 rpfilter lookup: Oops: general protection fault, probably for non-canonical address 0xdffffc0000000000 KASAN: null-ptr-deref in range [0x0000000000000000-0x0000000000000007] RIP: rpfilter_mt (net/ipv6/netfilter/ip6t_rpfilter.c:75) Call Trace: ip6t_do_table (net/ipv6/netfilter/ip6_tables.c:316) nf_hook_slow (net/netfilter/core.c:619) ipv6_rcv (net/ipv6/ip6_input.c:351) __netif_receive_skb_one_core (net/core/dev.c:6216) process_backlog (net/core/dev.c:6680) __napi_poll (net/core/dev.c:7739) net_rx_action (net/core/dev.c:7959) handle_softirqs (kernel/softirq.c:622) do_softirq.part.0 (kernel/softirq.c:523) __local_bh_enable_ip (kernel/softirq.c:450) __dev_queue_xmit (net/core/dev.c:4913) packet_sendmsg (net/packet/af_packet.c:3139) __sys_sendto (net/socket.c:2252) __x64_sys_sendto (net/socket.c:2259) do_syscall_64 (arch/x86/entry/syscall_64.c:94) entry_SYSCALL_64_after_hwframe (arch/x86/entry/entry_64.S:121) Kernel panic - not syncing: Fatal exception in interrupt Reject routes without an inet6_dev immediately after lookup. CVE-2026-106439 1 Hydra-ecosystem 1 Hydra 2026-10-09 7.8 High
Hydra is a framework for elegantly configuring complex applications. From 1.3.4 until 1.3.7 and 1.4.0.dev10, Hydra stores legacy instantiate target blocklists and related execution-policy collections in mutable module-level state. An attacker who controls multiple sibling target entries can resolve hydra._internal.target_policy.UNCONTROLLED_EXECUTION_TARGETS.discard through instantiate(), remove a denied target, and then invoke that target because sibling nodes are processed in insertion order against the same modified policy. The mutation persists in process-global state and can enable code execution with the application's privileges, while a narrow execution whitelist supplied by trusted Python code is not bypassed by the reported direct mutation path. This issue is fixed in versions 1.3.7 and 1.4.0.dev10.
