CVSS v3.1 |
| A stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability in the login functionality could allow an attacker to achieve code execution. |
| A vulnerability could allow an authenticated attacker to write files to arbitrary locations on the system. |
| In Eclipse Vert.x versions [4.0.0, 4.5.34] or [5.0.0,5.0.12] or [5.1.0,5.1.9] or [5.2.0, 5.2.0], the WebSocket implementation does not define a maximum number of bytes allocation when decompressing frames or messages. This can be used to implement DDOS attacks with a zip bomb.
The impacted component is io.vertx:vertx-core. |
| In Eclipse Vert.x versions [5.0.0,5.0.12] or [5.1.0,5.1.9] or [5.2.0, 5.2.0], the HTTP proxy provides a body transformer interceptor that relies on a max buffered bytes limit to ensure a bounded buffer for each request. This can be used to force a server to indefinitely allocate heap. This vulnerability requires to use an intercepting body transformer.
The impacted component is io.vertx:vertx-http-proxy. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drm/imagination: clamp freelist reconstruction requests
The firmware reconstruction count controls accesses to the request's
fixed freelist ID array and the copy into the fixed response array.
Neither access currently bounds the count to those protocol arrays.
Clamp the count to the request capacity, which is shared by the response
layout, and use that count consistently for reconstruction and response
publication. Keep the firmware recovery exchange instead of dropping an
oversized request without a response, as discussed with the firmware
maintainer.
The issue was found by our static-analysis tool. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net: spacemit: clear TX descriptor on fragment mapping failure
emac_tx_mem_map() writes TX_DESC_0_OWN into the ring descriptor for
every slot beyond old_head as soon as that slot's memset()'d local
copy is committed with "*tx_desc_addr = tx_desc", i.e. before the
buffers for that slot have necessarily all been mapped successfully.
If emac_tx_map_frag() then fails on a later fragment, the err_free_skb
path calls emac_free_tx_buf() to unmap and drop the skb, but leaves
the already-written descriptor memory untouched, and tx_ring->head is
never advanced past old_head (the "tx_ring->head = head" store is
skipped by the goto).
So a slot between old_head and the rolled-back head can be left with
TX_DESC_0_OWN set and buffer_addr_{1,2} pointing at DMA mappings that
emac_free_tx_buf() just tore down, while software considers that slot
free again. The next successful emac_tx_mem_map() call only rebuilds
old_head itself; if the DMA engine auto-advances into the following
descriptor once it finishes old_head's packet, it will fetch that
stale, already-unmapped address.
emac_tx_clean_desc() already treats emac_free_tx_buf() and clearing
the descriptor as a pair when reclaiming completed descriptors; do
the same in the mapping failure path. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
wifi: mac80211: reject invalid 320 MHz CSA bandwidth
The HT/VHT channel definition validator can receive a 320 MHz
bandwidth indication from a received CSA frame on a non-6 GHz link.
It warns for this unsupported width but continues with an uninitialized
vht_operation.chan_width, which is then read by
ieee80211_chandef_vht_oper(). With panic_on_warn enabled, this lets a
received frame panic the kernel.
Reject the channel definition before entering the VHT operation
conversion. This preserves the existing CSA fallback while avoiding
both the warning and the uninitialized read. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
tty: serial: max3100: shut down timer before freeing port
max3100_shutdown() stops the polling timer but returns early during
system suspend. If the SPI device is unbound before resume, the serial
core does not call max3100_shutdown() again, so max3100_remove() frees
the port while the timer remains armed. max3100_timeout() may then
access the freed port and re-arm the timer.
Add final timer teardown to max3100_remove() and use
timer_shutdown_sync() to prevent a racing callback from re-arming it.
Also free the IRQ and destroy the workqueue there before freeing the
port. Keep timer_delete_sync() in max3100_shutdown() so that a
subsequent open() can re-arm the timer.
The workqueue is created before request_irq() and destroyed on both
request_irq() failure and normal shutdown. Its presence at remove thus
identifies the IRQ left registered when suspend bypasses shutdown.
Free the IRQ before destroying the workqueue, in both
max3100_shutdown() and max3100_remove(), and cancel the pending work
in between. free_irq() waits for a running interrupt handler to
finish and no new handler can start afterwards, so a racing handler
cannot queue work on a workqueue that is being destroyed; the
force_end_work check in max3100_dowork() only narrows that window, as
a handler delayed between the check and queue_work() could still run
after the teardown has cleared the workqueue pointer. Cancelling the
work also keeps destroy_workqueue() from waiting on a queued work item
in case remove() ever runs while the freezable workqueue is still
frozen, e.g. device removal during the resume window, before
workqueues are thawed.

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net: restrict SO_RESERVE_MEM to TCP sockets and cap max value
Commit 2bb2f5fb21b0 ("net: add new socket option SO_RESERVE_MEM") and
commit d00c8ee31729 ("net: fix possible NULL deref in sock_reserve_memory")
only checked sk_has_account(sk), which is true for both TCP and UDP
sockets.
However, SO_RESERVE_MEM and sk_unused_reserved_mem() are currently only
supported by TCP:
- On UDP sockets, sk->sk_forward_alloc is protected by
sk->sk_receive_queue.lock, whereas sock_reserve_memory() and
sock_release_reserved_memory() only acquire lock_sock(sk). Concurrent
UDP packet reception/release and setsockopt(SO_RESERVE_MEM) corrupt
sk_forward_alloc and memcg accounting.
- udp_rmem_release() reclaims excess sk_forward_alloc without
accounting for sk_unused_reserved_mem(sk).
Restrict sock_reserve_memory() to TCP sockets (sk_is_tcp(sk)) for now.
Supporting SO_RESERVE_MEM for UDP (acquiring sk_receive_queue.lock and
honoring sk_unused_reserved_mem() in udp_rmem_release()) can be done in
a future net-next series if needed.
In addition, reject val > SZ_1G with -EINVAL in
sk_setsockopt(SO_RESERVE_MEM). Without an upper bound, values near
INT_MAX cause sk_mem_pages(delta) and (pages << PAGE_SHIFT) to overflow
32-bit signed int, corrupting sk->sk_forward_alloc and
sk->sk_reserved_mem. Using a page-aligned cap (SZ_1G) ensures that the
page-rounded sk->sk_reserved_mem reported by getsockopt(SO_RESERVE_MEM)
can always be passed back to setsockopt(SO_RESERVE_MEM). |
| Slims (Senayan Library Management Systems) 9 Bulian 9.8.0 allows an authenticated staff user to perform SQL injection via the opac_hide and promoted GET parameters of admin/modules/bibliography/index.php, because escape_string() is applied but the values are concatenated into an unquoted numeric SQL context, leading to error-based information disclosure and arbitrary data extraction. |
| An authorization issue was addressed with improved state management. This issue is fixed in visionOS 27. An app may be able to access sensitive user data. |
| A race condition was addressed with additional validation. This issue is fixed in macOS Golden Gate 27, macOS Sequoia 15.8, macOS Tahoe 26.7. A malicious application may be able to bypass Privacy preferences. |
| A denial-of-service issue was addressed with improved input validation. This issue is fixed in iOS 26.7 and iPadOS 26.7, iOS 27 and iPadOS 27. An attacker in a privileged network position may be able to cause a denial-of-service. |
| Out-of-bounds read in DNS Server allows an authorized attacker to disclose information over a network. |
| During an upload, curl mishandles HTTP/2 `RST_STREAM` received from the server
(with reason `HTTP_1_1_REQUIRED` or `REFUSED_STREAM`) leading to a use after
free of a `struct Curl_easy` object. |
| The Salon Booking System WordPress plugin before 10.31.11 does not prevent users holding its custom salon staff role from assigning arbitrary capabilities to other accounts when editing a customer, allowing them to escalate any account to administrator and take over the site. |
| WebITR developed by Uniong has a Insecure Deserialization vulnerability. Authenticated remote attackers can use the hard-coded cryptographic key to craft and submit malicious serialized data, thereby executing arbitrary code on the server. |
| In Eclipse Vert.x versions [4.0.0, 4.5.34] or [5.0.0,5.0.12] or [5.1.0,5.1.9] or [5.2.0, 5.2.0], the uniqueItems keyword validation uses an O(n²) pairwise comparison loop with no short-circuit or size limit. A remote unauthenticated attacker can submit a moderately-sized JSON array that consumes disproportionate CPU time, leading to denial of service.
The impacted component is io.vertx:vertx-json-schema.
The following Vert.x modules depend on vertx-json-schema and are also affected:
io.vertx:vertx-web-openapi-router io.vertx:vertx-web-validation io.vertx:vertx-openapi |
| In Eclipse Vert.x versions [4.0.0, 4.5.34] or [5.0.0,5.0.12] or [5.1.0,5.1.9] or [5.2.0, 5.2.0], the TDS message decoder in the Vert.x MSSQL client (vertx-mssql-client) aggregates inbound TDS packets into a composite direct-memory buffer without any cumulative size limit. A malicious, compromised, or man-in-the-middle SQL Server can send a continuous stream of TDS packets without setting the END_OF_MESSAGE status flag, causing unbounded direct-memory allocation on the client and leading to an out-of-memory crash. This occurs before authentication completes.
The impacted component is io.vertx:vertx-mssql-client. |
| In Eclipse Vert.x versions [4.0.0, 4.5.34] or [5.0.0,5.0.12] or [5.1.0,5.1.9] or [5.2.0, 5.2.0], the binary array decoder in vertx-pg-client (DataTypeCodec.binaryDecodeArray) allocates a Java array sized by a server-declared 32-bit dimension count with no upper bound. A malicious or compromised PostgreSQL server, or an on-path attacker intercepting an unencrypted connection, can send a crafted DataRow message with an excessively large array dimension value, causing the client to attempt a multi-gigabyte heap allocation and crash with an OutOfMemoryError.
The impacted component is io.vertx:vertx-pg-client. |
