In the GNU C Library (aka glibc or libc6) through 2.29, proceed_next_node in posix/regexec.c has a heap-based buffer over-read via an attempted case-insensitive regular-expression match.
CVE-2019-8457 5 Canonical, Fedoraproject, Opensuse and 2 more 5 Ubuntu Linux, Fedora, Leap and 2 more 2026-10-14 9.8 Critical
SQLite3 from 3.6.0 to and including 3.27.2 is vulnerable to heap out-of-bound read in the rtreenode() function when handling invalid rtree tables.
CVE-2019-7309 1 Gnu 1 Glibc 2026-10-14 N/A
In the GNU C Library (aka glibc or libc6) through 2.29, the memcmp function for the x32 architecture can incorrectly return zero (indicating that the inputs are equal) because the RDX most significant bit is mishandled.
CVE-2019-6488 1 Gnu 1 Glibc 2026-10-14 N/A
The string component in the GNU C Library (aka glibc or libc6) through 2.28, when running on the x32 architecture, incorrectly attempts to use a 64-bit register for size_t in assembly codes, which can lead to a segmentation fault or possibly unspecified other impact, as demonstrated by a crash in __memmove_avx_unaligned_erms in sysdeps/x86_64/multiarch/memmove-vec-unaligned-erms.S during a memcpy.
CVE-2019-6111 10 Apache, Canonical, Debian and 7 more 27 Mina Sshd, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 24 more 2026-10-14 5.9 Medium
An issue was discovered in OpenSSH 7.9. Due to the scp implementation being derived from 1983 rcp, the server chooses which files/directories are sent to the client. However, the scp client only performs cursory validation of the object name returned (only directory traversal attacks are prevented). A malicious scp server (or Man-in-The-Middle attacker) can overwrite arbitrary files in the scp client target directory. If recursive operation (-r) is performed, the server can manipulate subdirectories as well (for example, to overwrite the .ssh/authorized_keys file).
CVE-2019-6110 4 Netapp, Openbsd, Siemens and 1 more 9 Element Software, Ontap Select Deploy, Storage Automation Store and 6 more 2026-10-14 6.8 Medium
In OpenSSH 7.9, due to accepting and displaying arbitrary stderr output from the server, a malicious server (or Man-in-The-Middle attacker) can manipulate the client output, for example to use ANSI control codes to hide additional files being transferred.
CVE-2019-6109 9 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 6 more 28 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 25 more 2026-10-14 6.8 Medium
An issue was discovered in OpenSSH 7.9. Due to missing character encoding in the progress display, a malicious server (or Man-in-The-Middle attacker) can employ crafted object names to manipulate the client output, e.g., by using ANSI control codes to hide additional files being transferred. This affects refresh_progress_meter() in progressmeter.c.
