CVSS v3.1 |
| A NULL pointer dereference in the CDR processing path of free5gc v4.0.1 allows attackers to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) via supplying crafted payload. |
| Nodemailer before 8.0.9 fails to enforce disableFileAccess and disableUrlAccess options during message normalization in jsonTransport. Attackers can read local files or fetch URLs by supplying path or href values in message content fields, bypassing intended access controls. |
| X.509IF protocol dissector crash in 4.6.0 to 4.6.7 and 4.4.0 to 4.4.18 allows denial of service |
| DBI versions before 1.650 for Perl are vulnerable to code injection via caller-influenced Profile.
When a string is assigned to a DBI handle's Profile attribute, DBI splits it into path, package and arguments, and interpolates the package part in a string eval with no validation of the package name.
Any caller-influenced value that reaches the Profile attribute is therefore arbitrary Perl code execution, including calls to run system commands.
The Profile attribute can be set from three different sources that can carry untrusted data: the DBI_PROFILE environment variable, a direct attribute assignment, and a DSN driver-attribute clause dbi:Driver(Profile=>SPEC):db.
An attacker controlling any of those inputs runs arbitrary Perl in the host process. The strongest remote position is a network-exposed DBI::Gofer / DBI::ProxyServer whose per-request DSN reaches the Profile attribute, letting a client execute code on the broker host. |
| RAOP module accepts unbounded Content-Length values and does not check the pw_array_add() return. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net: emac: Fix NULL pointer dereference in emac_probe
Move devm_request_irq() after devm_platform_ioremap_resource() so that
dev->emacp is mapped before the interrupt handler can fire. An early
interrupt hitting emac_irq() would dereference the NULL dev->emacp and
crash.
Also remove redundant error message. devm_platform_ioremap_resource()
already returns an error message with dev_err_probe(). |
| DebugKit provides a debugging toolbar for CakePHP applications. Prior to 4.10.3 and 5.2.4, the DebugKit MailPreview feature in src/Controller/MailPreviewController.php accepts a route-controlled previewName value in findPreview and passes the resolved class from App::className() to constructor execution without rejecting namespace separators or verifying that the class extends DebugKit\Mailer\MailPreview. An attacker able to access DebugKit while debug mode is enabled and the request hostname is local or allowlisted can select an unintended application class through the mail-preview preview route, resulting in arbitrary constructor execution and limited disclosure of application information. This issue is fixed in versions 4.10.3 and 5.2.4. |
| Yamcs is a mission control framework. Prior to 5.12.8 and 5.13.2, Yamcs inserts templateArgs from POST /api/instances and PATCH /api/instances/{instance} into YAML through VarStatement.append in yamcs-core/src/main/java/org/yamcs/templating/VarStatement.java without YAML-context escaping. The rendered configuration is parsed by YamcsServer.createInstance and loaded by YamcsServerInstance, allowing an attacker to inject a services entry for org.yamcs.ProcessRunner. Deployments without security.yaml expose the operation through the guest superuser, while secured deployments require SystemPrivilege.CreateInstances. Successful exploitation executes commands as the Yamcs service account. This issue is fixed in versions 5.12.8 and 5.13.2. |
| In Stomper 5e2741e when a client sends a SEND frame missing the destination header field, the server triggers a null pointer dereference (or access to invalid memory) while processing the frame, causing the process to crash. |
| Vocos instantiates a class named by a configuration file without restricting which class may be named. instantiate_class in vocos/pretrained.py takes the class_path value from the configuration, splits it into a module and an attribute, imports the module with __import__, resolves the attribute with getattr, and calls the result as args_class(*args, **kwargs) where kwargs is the config's own init_args mapping. No allowlist constrains the dotted path, so a configuration may name any importable callable and supply the arguments it is called with. Vocos.from_hparams reaches this for each of the feature_extractor, backbone and head entries, and Vocos.from_pretrained reaches it with a remote file: it downloads config.yaml from a caller-named Hugging Face repository and passes it straight to from_hparams. Loading a model from a repository the user does not control therefore executes code of the repository owner's choosing in the loading process. The neighbouring torch.load of the downloaded weights is a separate matter and is constrained on PyTorch releases that default weights_only to true, which leaves this path as the reachable one. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
PCI: dwc: Avoid dwc_pcie_rasdes_debugfs_deinit() NULL dereference when no RAS DES capability
dwc_pcie_rasdes_debugfs_init() returns success when the controller has no
RAS DES capability, leaving pci->debugfs->rasdes_info unset. The common
debugfs teardown path still calls dwc_pcie_rasdes_debugfs_deinit(), which
dereferences rasdes_info unconditionally.
Return early when no RAS DES state was allocated. In that case no RAS DES
mutex was initialized, so there is nothing to destroy.

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
s390/dasd: Fix potential NULL pointer dereference
dasd_release_space() checks the implementation of the is_ese()
discipline function before calling it to determine if a given device is
an ESE DASD.
The current usage of the logical AND operator will lead to a NULL
pointer dereference as the function is called even if the function
pointer is NULL.
Fix this by using the logical OR operator. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drm/amd/display: use proper context for logging
The same as the rest of the code, get_ss_info_from_atombios() uses
calc_pll_cs->ctx->logger for logging. But calc_pll_cs->ctx is
initialized only later in calc_pll_max_vco_construct(). Therefore, any
output using DC_LOG_SYNC() leads to a NULL pointer deference in
get_ss_info_from_atombios().
According to Sashiko, the very same problem exists in
dce112_get_pix_clk_dividers() and dcn3_get_pix_clk_dividers() too.
To avoid accessing the NULL context, use clk_src->base.ctx->logger
everywhere. That context in base is initialized earlier in
dce110_clk_src_construct() and dce112_clk_src_construct(). Before
get_ss_info_from_atombios() or Sashiko's get_pix_clk_dividers functions
above are actually called. This is done by redefining DC_LOGGER to
CTX->logger.
Before:
dce110_clk_src_construct() did:
-> sets clk_src->base.ctx = ctx;
-> ss_info_from_atombios_create()
-> get_ss_info_from_atombios() <- uses calc_pll_cs->ctx # BOOM
-> calc_pll_max_vco_construct() <- sets calc_pll_cs->ctx
After:
dce110_clk_src_construct() does:
-> sets clk_src->base.ctx = ctx;
-> ss_info_from_atombios_create()
-> get_ss_info_from_atombios() <- uses clk_src->base.ctx

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net/sched: act_api: fix TOCTOU NULL deref on a->goto_chain
tcf_action_exec() handles TC_ACT_GOTO_CHAIN by first checking
rcu_access_pointer(a->goto_chain) and then calling
tcf_action_goto_chain_exec(), which does a second, independent
rcu_dereference_bh(a->goto_chain) read and immediately dereferences
chain->filter_chain. A concurrent tcf_action_set_ctrlact() (e.g. the gact
replace path) can clear a->goto_chain between the two reads, so the second
read returns NULL and tcf_action_goto_chain_exec() dereferences NULL.
Fix the race by doing a single rcu_dereference_bh() read of a->goto_chain
in tcf_action_exec(), checking it once for NULL, and passing the resulting
chain pointer into tcf_action_goto_chain_exec(). This turns the split
check/use into a single check/use on one value. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
netfilter: conntrack: revert ct extension genid infrastructure
This infrastructure is not used anymore after moving ct timeout and
helper to use datapath refcount to track object use.
Revert commit c56716c69ce1 ("netfilter: extensions: introduce extension
genid count") this patch disables all ct extensions (leading to NULL)
for unconfirmed conntracks, when this is only targeted at ct helper and
ct timeout. There is also codebase that dereferences the ct extension
without checking for NULL which could lead to crash. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drm/rockchip: dw_dp: Fix null-ptr-deref in dw_dp_remove()
Attempting to access driver data in the platform driver ->remove()
callback may lead to a null pointer dereference since there is no
guaranty that the component ->bind() callback invoking
platform_set_drvdata() was executed.
A common scenario is when Rockchip DRM driver didn't manage to run
component_bind_all() because of an (unrelated) error causing early
return from rockchip_drm_bind().
Drop the unnecessary call to platform_get_drvdata() and, instead,
reference the target device structure via platform_device. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
erofs: ensure valid f_path for page cache sharing
Previously, backing files for page cache sharing were set up with
f_path left as NULL (only f_inode was valid). It worked, but a recent
mincore fix relies on f_path.mnt and crashes (found by "erofs/028" on
7.2-rc4):
BUG: kernel NULL pointer dereference, address: 0000000000000018

Specify valid paths using valid disconnected dentries together with
erofs_ishare_mnt instead of leaving f_path empty, so they are more
like real backing files in a pseudo filesystem and standard
backing_file_open() can be used directly. |
| The Cypher component in Neo4j 5.0.0 through 5.18 mishandles IMMUTABLE privileges in some situations where an attacker already has admin access. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
Input: cs40l50-vibra - validate custom data from user space
cs40l50_add() copies the custom data of an FF_PERIODIC/FF_CUSTOM effect
straight from the ff_effect the user passed to EVIOCSFF, without
requiring it to hold anything:
work_data.custom_data = memdup_array_user(periodic->custom_data,
periodic->custom_len,
sizeof(s16));
work_data.custom_len = periodic->custom_len;
The driver then reads two words out of that buffer: custom_data[0] as the
waveform bank in cs40l50_effect_bank_set(), and custom_data[1] as the
index within the bank in cs40l50_effect_index_set(). Neither read is
covered by a length check, and custom_len is fully user controlled:
- custom_len == 0 makes memdup_array_user() call memdup_user() with a
length of zero, which returns ZERO_SIZE_PTR rather than an error, so
custom_data[0] dereferences it.
- custom_len == 1 allocates two bytes. A bank of ROM or RAM keeps
effect->type out of the OWT case, and custom_data[1] is then read one
word past the allocation.
The bank value itself is also mishandled. It is masked with
CS40L50_CUSTOM_DATA_MASK (0xffff) but stored in an s16, so a
custom_data[0] of 0x8000 or above wraps to a negative value that passes
the "bank_type >= CS40L50_WVFRM_BANK_NUM" test.
cs40l50_effect_index_set() indexes vib->dsp.banks[] with it before the
switch statement's default case gets a chance to reject it:
base_index = vib->dsp.banks[effect->type].base_index;
max_index = vib->dsp.banks[effect->type].max_index;
Require the two words the driver reads to be present, and hold the masked
bank in a u32 so the existing upper-bound test covers the whole range.
The da7280 haptic driver already range checks custom_len this way. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
pinctrl: spacemit: fix NULL check in spacemit_pin_set_config
spacemit_pin_set_config() looks up the per-pin descriptor with
spacemit_get_pin() then checks the wrong variable for failure:
const struct spacemit_pin *spin = spacemit_get_pin(pctrl, pin);
...
if (!pin)
return -EINVAL;
reg = spacemit_pin_to_reg(pctrl, spin->pin);
pin is an unsigned int pin id, where 0 (GPIO_0 / gmac0_rxdv on K3) is a
valid pin, so rejecting it here drops the PAD config write for the first
pin of every group. On K3 Pico-ITX the GMAC RGMII group lists pin 0 as
its first entry, so its drive-strength / bias configuration was silently
ignored.
The intended guard is against spacemit_get_pin() returning NULL when the
pin id isn't in the SoC's pin table. Check spin instead, which both
restores PAD setup for pin 0 and prevents a NULL deref on spin->pin. |
