CVSS v3.1 |
| snap7 through 1.4.3 contains an out-of-bounds write vulnerability in TSnap7MicroClient::opReadArea() that allows malicious S7 peers to overflow client buffers via an unchecked DataLength field. Rogue or impersonated PLCs can return crafted ReadVar responses causing memcpy of up to 65535 bytes into caller buffers, crashing SCADA, HMI, or gateway processes and corrupting memory. |
| unarr through 1.1.1 contains a heap-based out-of-bounds read in zip_parse_extra_fields() in zip/parse-zip.c due to an incorrect ZIP64 extra field length check. Attackers can supply a crafted ZIP archive with 0xFFFFFFFF sentinel values and a truncated ZIP64 record to read past the heap buffer and crash the process. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
af_packet: Don't cast tpacket_hdr.tp_len to int in tpacket_parse_header().
syzbot reported BUG() in sock_sendmsg_nosec(). [0]
The problem is that tpacket_parse_header() casts user-provided
tpacket_hdr.tp_len, which is u32, to int.
If the length is larger than INT_MAX, the following condition
in tpacket_parse_header() passes,
if (unlikely(tp_len > size_max))
and any negative value can be returned to the caller, up to
sock_sendmsg_nosec().
The repro set tpacket_hdr.tp_len to 0xfffffdef, which is cast
to -EIOCBQUEUED (-529), triggering BUG() in sock_sendmsg_nosec().
*(uint64_t*)0x200000000008 = 0xfffffdef;
...
syscall(__NR_write, /*fd=*/r[0], /*buf=*/0x200000000000ul, /*count=*/1ul);
Let's define the local tp_len as u32 in tpacket_parse_header().

| Vulnerability in Oracle Essbase (component: Security). The supported version that is affected is 21.8.3.0.0. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows low privileged attacker with network access via T3, IIOP to compromise Oracle Essbase. While the vulnerability is in Oracle Essbase, attacks may significantly impact additional products (scope change). Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in takeover of Oracle Essbase. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 9.9 (Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:C/C:H/I:H/A:H). |
| Heap-based buffer overflow in Virtual Hard Disk (VHD) Miniport Driver allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |
| Shopper is a Headless e-commerce Admin Panel. From 2.0.0 until 2.9.2, authenticated users who could reach the Settings pages with only access_setting could directly invoke destructive actions through the Livewire endpoint because packages/admin/src/Livewire/Components/Settings/Zones/ZoneShippingOptions.php, packages/admin/src/Livewire/Components/Settings/Zones/Detail.php, packages/admin/src/Livewire/Components/Settings/Taxes/Detail.php, and packages/admin/src/Livewire/Components/Settings/Taxes/TaxRates.php did not enforce server-side delete authorization. The actions could delete carrier options, shipping zones, tax zones, and tax rates, disrupting checkout shipping, payment-method mapping, and tax calculation. This issue is fixed in version 2.9.2. |
| Omnispace Agora Project before 26.10.0 contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability that allows authenticated users to post messages containing attacker-controlled iframes through the messenger's HTMLPurifier SafeIframe branch. Attackers can craft a message with a malicious iframe that is stored and automatically rendered to other channel members, enabling zero-click drive-by downloads and framed JavaScript execution in recipients' browsers. |
| ColdFusion RDS is affected by an Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ('Path Traversal') vulnerability that could lead to arbitrary file system read. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability to access sensitive files and directories outside the intended access scope. Exploitation of this issue does not require user interaction. Scope is changed.
RDS is purely a development feature meant for debugging purposes, and switching ColdFusion to Production Secure Profile automatically disables RDS. The Lockdown Guide outlines the specific step to disable RDS if a ColdFusion server is not being used in Production Secure Profile. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
scsi: ch: Do not keep references to data transfer element devices
ch_readconfig() looks up the scsi_device of every data transfer element
whose SCSI id the changer reports in READ ELEMENT STATUS, and stores it in
ch->dt[]. scsi_device_lookup() takes a reference, and nothing ever drops
it: ch_destroy() frees the array with kfree(). ch->dt[] is read nowhere
else - it only supplies the vendor, model and revision printed in the same
loop.
Once such a drive is removed, its scsi_device can never be released. It
stays on the host's device list at its address, so a new device there is
refused by anything that walks the list - target_core_pscsi reports
"scsi_device_get() failed for H:C:T:L" - and the low-level driver's module
can no longer be unloaded. Only a reboot recovers.
It shows with any changer that reports its drives' ids; with the mhvtl
virtual library (IBM 3573-TL personality), each create and remove of a
library with four drives leaves four references behind, counted by the
module's use count in lsmod. With ch not bound the count is unchanged, and
with this patch applied it is unchanged too.
Drop the reference as soon as the name has been printed, and remove the now
unused dt[] array. That also removes the array leaked when ch_probe() fails
after ch_readconfig().
The same leak was reported with an RFC patch in 2022, which was not merged. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
regulator: of: fill in supply names in of_regulator_bulk_get_all()
of_regulator_bulk_get_all() returns an array it allocated itself, and
fills in only the consumer of each entry. Every other way of getting a
bulk array has the supply name set, because the caller provides it, and
the core expects it to be there: regulator_bulk_enable() prints it when
a supply fails to enable, so a caller that hands such an array to it
dereferences uninitialised memory on that path.
Copy each name into the array's own allocation, right behind the
entries, so that it shares the array's lifetime and callers still have
nothing extra to free. That also retires the fixed 64 byte stack buffer
the names were assembled in, which is_supply_name() never bounded the
copy against. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net: team: stop reusing skb after queue override
A nonzero dev_queue_xmit() result does not return ownership of the skb.
When an override port's qdisc drops it, the queue override helper used to
try another port or the mode transmit op with the freed skb.
Return the handoff decision separately from transmit success. Select only
the first override port under RCU and stop after handing it the skb,
regardless of the lower transmit result. Keep the existing success and
drop accounting.

Kernel panic - not syncing: KASAN: panic_on_warn set ... |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net: xilinx: axienet: Free outstanding DMA buffers on dmaengine stop
In the dmaengine path the driver pre-submits RX buffers and holds
in-flight TX buffers whose SKBs are DMA-mapped by the driver and freed
only in the completion callbacks. On ndo_stop() dmaengine_terminate_sync()
aborts these descriptors without running their callbacks, and the driver
then frees only the ring shells, leaking every SKB still owned by the
engine and its DMA mapping on each ifdown. With 128 RX buffers pre-posted
per channel, the mapping leak can eventually exhaust a limited IOMMU
aperture.
Clear the slot's skb in the TX and RX callbacks so a non-NULL skb marks a
slot that still owns a live, DMA-mapped buffer, and on stop unmap and free
every such buffer.
axienet_dma_rx_cb() runs from the DMA tasklet and re-arms the RX ring on
each completion, so it can race axienet_stop(): a completion may submit a
fresh buffer after dmaengine_terminate_sync() has returned, leaving the
channel armed with a buffer the teardown then frees while the engine may
still write into it (dma_release_channel() does not stop it either). Add a
lock that axienet_dma_rx_cb() holds across the @stopping check and the
resubmit, and axienet_stop() holds to set @stopping before terminating.
Once @stopping is set no callback can arm a new buffer, and any armed just
before is aborted by the terminate, so teardown only frees buffers the
engine no longer owns. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net: sparx5: free the matchall entry on destroy
sparx5_tc_matchall_replace() allocates a struct sparx5_mall_entry for
every offloaded matchall filter and adds it to sparx5->mall_entries.
sparx5_tc_matchall_destroy() removes the entry from the list, but never
frees it, so the entry of every deleted mirror and goto matchall filter
is leaked.
Free the entry after unlinking it.
The leak was discovered by an AI code review agent, and reproduced with
kmemleak on a lan969x EV board (EV23X71A) by repeatedly adding and
deleting matchall mirror and goto filters. With the fix, kmemleak no
longer reports the leak. |

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
tty: tty_port: restore TTY_IO_ERROR on activation failure
Make sure to restore the TTY_IO_ERROR flag if activation fails to
prevent I/O attempts on a port that is gone or powered down.
This specifically avoids issues like kernel panic due to unclocked
accesses or NULL-pointer dereferences when accessing powered down or
deregistered ports when a TTY ioctl races with hangup and open.
Note that the flag is set again in tty_port_close() but not restoring it
on activation failure leaves a window where drivers fail to handle the
ioctl-hangup race. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
usb: cdns3: fix use-after-free in cdns3_gadget_exit()
cdns3_gadget_start() arms two works on system_freezable_wq:
pending_status_wq for the deferred ep0 status stage and aligned_buf_wq
for realigned request buffers. Both handlers use the cdns3_device the
works are embedded in, and cdns3_pending_setup_status_handler() also
calls the ep0 request completion.
cdns3_gadget_exit() does not wait for these works. It frees all
endpoints and aligned buffers and drops the last reference to the
gadget device, which frees priv_dev, so a work queued before the exit
can run after the free.
Fix this by waiting for both works after the gadget driver is unbound
and the IRQ is freed, when no new work can be queued, and before the
endpoints and buffers are released.
This issue was found by an in-house static analysis tool. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
usb: typec: ucsi: glink: fix use-after-free of ucsi on remove
The pmic_glink client is released by the devres cleanup, which runs
after pmic_glink_ucsi_remove() has returned, so its notification
callbacks can queue work until then. Work that runs after
ucsi_unregister() has been called touches freed state: it dereferences
the connector array that ucsi_unregister() freed, or registers and
unregisters the instance a second time.
Disable both work items with disable_work_sync() before unregistering,
and unregister only if the instance is still registered.
This issue was found by an in-house static analysis tool. |
