CVE-2026-89509 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-11 4.1 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: RDMA/ionic: Embed counter driver data in rdma_counter allocation Commit 7e53b31acc7f ("RDMA/core: Create and destroy rdma_counter using rdma_zalloc_drv_obj()") requires drivers implementing counter ops to embed struct rdma_counter in a driver-specific struct, register its size via INIT_RDMA_OBJ_SIZE, and provide a counter_init callback. The ionic driver was merged without this adaptation, causing a NULL pointer dereference in alloc_and_bind() since rdma_zalloc_drv_obj() allocates zero bytes when size_rdma_counter is unset. Consolidate struct ionic_counter into a new struct ionic_rdma_counter that embeds struct rdma_counter, replace the xarray with a lightweight ida for ID allocation, and add the required counter_init and INIT_RDMA_OBJ_SIZE declarations.
CVE-2026-89506 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-11 4.7 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: RDMA/uverbs: Add UVERBS_ATTR_UHW to UVERBS_METHOD_REG_MR The original commit missed that three drivers (mthca, irdma, siw) have UHW data associated with reg_mr that cannot be passed through the ioctl. They also assume that the udata cannot be NULL, so failing to pass a valid udata can trigger a NULL udata crash in those drivers. This never happens in real systems since in rdma-core ibv_cmd_reg_mr_ex() does not accept a udata and those three drivers don't use it, however a malicious userspace could trigger it.
CVE-2026-89484 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-11 5.9 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: lockd: fix NULL dereference on lockowner allocation failure nlmclnt_locks_init_private() installs NLM file lock operations even when nlmclnt_find_lockowner() fails to allocate a lockowner. nlmclnt_proc() then returns -ENOMEM, but the VFS still tears down the partially initialized file_lock and calls locks_release_private(). That invokes nlmclnt_locks_release_private(), which dereferences fl->fl_u.nfs_fl.owner and crashes because the owner was never installed. Clear fl_ops before attempting to initialize the NLM private state, and install the NLM lock operations only after a lockowner has been allocated successfully.
CVE-2026-89451 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-11 4.1 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iommu/sva: Set handle->dev before the SVA handle is visible iommu_attach_device_pasid() installs the new SVA attach handle in the group PASID lookup before iommu_sva_bind_device() returns. A concurrent bind can therefore find and reuse the same handle after iommu_sva_lock is dropped. handle->dev was initialized after dropping iommu_sva_lock. This leaves a window where a racing bind can return a handle whose dev pointer is still NULL. A subsequent iommu_sva_unbind_device() can then dereference it via handle->dev->iommu_group. Initialize handle->dev before releasing iommu_sva_lock so any visible SVA handle is fully initialized.
CVE-2026-89439 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-11 4.4 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: platform/x86: ISST: Add a NULL check for sst_inst[] To be consistent with other places, add a NULL check for failed socket loading by checking isst_common.sst_inst[].
CVE-2026-80993 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-11 4.1 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: phylink: correctly validate returned PCS in phylink_inband_caps In phylink_inband_caps(), the PCS returned by mac_select_pcs is only checked if NULL but mac_select_pcs can also return an error pointer. This can cause a kernel panic as phylink_pcs_inband_caps() only checks if passed PCS is not NULL and directly dereference ops from the phylink_pcs struct. Use the IS_ERR_OR_NULL macro to address both case where the returned PCS can be NULL or an error pointer and prevent a kernel panic.
CVE-2022-1199 3 Linux, Netapp, Redhat 13 Linux Kernel, Active Iq Unified Manager, H300s and 10 more 2026-09-11 7.5 High

CVE-2026-80917 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-09 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: PCI: host-generic: Fix NULL pointer dereference on 32-bit CAM systems On 32-bit systems the config space is too large to ioremap in one go, so pci_ecam_create() maps each bus segment separately and relies on the ->add_bus callback (pci_ecam_add_bus) to populate the per-bus mapping in cfg->winp[]. pci_ecam_map_bus() then uses that mapping as the base for every config access. The generic ECAM ops (pci_generic_ecam_ops) already provide the ->add_bus and ->remove_bus callbacks, but the CAM (legacy) ops in pci-host-generic.c do not. As a result, on a 32-bit host using "pci-host-cam-generic" the per-bus mapping is never set up and the first config read dereferences a NULL base, crashing during bus enumeration: Unable to handle kernel NULL pointer dereference at virtual address 00000800 Oops [#1] CPU: 0 PID: 1 Comm: swapper Not tainted 6.9.7+ #43 Hardware name: Digilent Nexys-Video-A7 RV32 (DT) epc : pci_generic_config_read+0x40/0xb0 ra : pci_generic_config_read+0x2c/0xb0 [<c038db9c>] pci_generic_config_read+0x40/0xb0 [<c038da04>] pci_bus_read_config_dword+0x50/0xb0 [<c0391e94>] pci_bus_generic_read_dev_vendor_id+0x3c/0x1ec [<c039245c>] pci_scan_single_device+0xa4/0x11c [<c0392570>] pci_scan_slot+0x9c/0x23c [<c039388c>] pci_scan_child_bus_extend+0x58/0x2f4 [<c0393db0>] pci_scan_root_bus_bridge+0x64/0xe8 [<c0393e54>] pci_host_probe+0x20/0xc8 [<c03bc6f4>] pci_host_common_probe+0x144/0x1e4 Fix this by giving the CAM ops the same ->add_bus/->remove_bus callbacks. Since pci_ecam_add_bus() and pci_ecam_remove_bus() are static to ecam.c, move the CAM ops definition there as pci_generic_cam_ops (mirroring pci_generic_ecam_ops) and export it for pci-host-generic.c to reference. CVE-2026-42027 1 Apache 1 Opennlp 2026-09-09 9.8 Critical
Arbitrary Class Instantiation via Model Manifest in Apache OpenNLP ExtensionLoader Versions Affected: before 1.9.5, before 2.5.9, before 3.0.0-M3 Description:  The ExtensionLoader.instantiateExtension(Class, String) method loads a class by its fully-qualified name via Class.forName() and invokes its no-arg constructor, with the class name sourced from the manifest.properties entry of a model archive. The existing isAssignableFrom check correctly rejects classes that are not subtypes of the expected extension interface (BaseToolFactory for factory=, ArtifactSerializer for serializer-class-*), but the check runs after Class.forName() has already loaded and initialized the named class. Class.forName() with default initialization semantics executes the target class's static initializer before returning, so an attacker who can supply a crafted model archive can cause the static initializer of any class on the classpath to run during model loading, regardless of whether that class passes the subsequent type check. Exploitation requires a class with attacker-useful side effects in its static initializer (for example, JNDI lookup, outbound network I/O, or filesystem access) to be present on the classpath, so this is not a drop-in remote code execution; however, the attack surface grows as third-party model distribution becomes more common (community model repositories, Hugging Face-style sharing), where users routinely load model files from origins they do not control. A secondary, narrower vector affects deployments that ship legitimate BaseToolFactory or ArtifactSerializer subclasses with side-effecting no-arg constructors: a malicious manifest can name such a class and force its constructor to run during model load. Mitigation:  * 2.x users should upgrade to 2.5.9. * 3.x users should upgrade to 3.0.0-M3. Note: The fix introduces a package-prefix allowlist that is consulted before Class.forName() is invoked, so the static initializer of a disallowed class is never executed. Classes under the opennlp. prefix remain permitted by default. Deployments that load models referencing factories or serializers outside opennlp.* must opt those packages in, either programmatically via ExtensionLoader.registerAllowedPackage(String) before the first model load, or by setting the OPENNLP_EXT_ALLOWED_PACKAGES system property to a comma-separated list of allowed package prefixes. Users who cannot upgrade immediately should ensure that all model files are sourced from trusted origins and should audit their classpath for classes with side-effecting static initializers or constructors, particularly any that perform JNDI lookups, network requests, or filesystem operations during class initialization.
CVE-2026-77901 1 Microsoft 10 365 Apps, Microsoft 365, Office 2019 and 7 more 2026-09-08 8.8 High
Null pointer dereference in Microsoft Office Word allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code over a network.
CVE-2022-4993 1 Gshank 1 Html::formhandler 2026-09-08 9.1 Critical
HTML::FormHandler versions before 0.410000 for Perl allow attacker selected method dispatch and resource exhaustion because _apply_actions and add_error use error message text built from request data as a Locale::Maketext bracket notation template. add_error hands its first argument to the language handle as the Locale::Maketext message key, and the default handle's lexicon sets `_AUTO`, so a string that is not a lexicon entry is compiled as a bracket notation template instead of being looked up. In a bracket group the first token names a method called on the language handle and the remaining tokens are its arguments. Three kinds of text the library did not author reach that position. _apply_actions installs a `$SIG{__WARN__}` handler that stores the warning text in `$error_message`, and a captured warning survives a successful action, so a field carrying a numeric transform turns `Argument "[sprintf,%50000000d,0]" isn't numeric` into the template; a warning quotes the submitted value verbatim, so the group is well formed and dispatches. `$error_message ||= $tobj->validate($new_value)` takes a type constraint's own failure message, which renders the rejected value through a partial dumper in bracket and comma form (Devel::PartialDump when Moose can load it, Type::Tiny's own dumper always), so a field with `apply => [ Str ]` given a parameter sent more than once, which arrives as an array, gets `Reference ["a","b"] did not pass type constraint "Str"` as its template, from a request that carries no bracket character of its own. A coercion or transform exception reaches it the same way. Beyond those, a validator whose message contains the field value puts that value in the template directly, and add_error replaces the message list with the contents of an arrayref first argument (`@message = @{$message[0]} if ref $message[0] eq 'ARRAY'`), so a value arriving as an array fills the argument slots from the same request as well. A malformed group such as `[0]` makes the compile croak, and HTML::FormHandler::I18N::maketext and add_error each re-raise that as a die, so process() throws. A well formed group naming sprintf reaches CORE::sprintf with an attacker chosen field width. Any caller that applies a type constraint or a transform to an untrusted field, or whose validator passes an untrusted field value to add_error, can be made to throw an unhandled exception out of process(), or to allocate an arbitrary amount of memory in one request, and an application whose language handle subclass defines side effecting public methods makes those callable with attacker chosen arguments. The dumped type constraint message is bounded to the exception, because both dumpers quote non-numeric elements so the method slot is never an attacker chosen name. The built-in messages pass fixed templates with the value in an argument slot, where it stays inert, and the built-in field types attach explicit message callbacks, so neither is affected.
