CVSS v3.1 |
| ispdbservice.cpp in KDE Kmail before 6.2.0 allows man-in-the-middle attackers to trigger use of an attacker-controlled mail server because cleartext HTTP is used for a URL such as http://autoconfig.example.com or http://example.com/.well-known/autoconfig for retrieving the configuration. This is related to kmail-account-wizard. |
| This vulnerability exists in Philips lighting devices due to storage of Wi-Fi credentials in plain text within the device firmware. An attacker with physical access could exploit this by extracting the firmware and analyzing the binary data to obtain the plaintext Wi-Fi credentials stored on the vulnerable device.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability could allow an attacker to gain unauthorized access to the Wi-Fi network to which vulnerable device is connected. |
| SAP Commerce Cloud (Public Cloud) does not allow to disable unencrypted HTTP (port 80) entirely, but instead allows a redirect from port 80 to 443 (HTTPS). As a result, Commerce normally communicates securely over HTTPS. However, the confidentiality and integrity of data sent on the first request before the redirect may be impacted if the client is configured to use HTTP and sends confidential data on the first request before the redirect. |
| An flaw was found in the OpenStack Platform (RHOSP) director, a toolset for installing and managing a complete RHOSP environment. Plaintext passwords may be stored in log files, which can expose sensitive information to anyone with access to the logs. |
| Sensitive data could be exposed to non- privileged users in a configuration file. Local access to the computer with a low- privileged account is required to access the configuration file containing the sensitive data. |
| When using domain users as BRAIN2 users, communication with Active Directory services is unencrypted. This can lead to the interception of authentication data and compromise confidentiality. |
| A vulnerability classified as problematic has been found in Bharti Airtel Thanks App 4.105.4 on Android. Affected is an unknown function of the file /Android/data/com.myairtelapp/files/. The manipulation leads to cleartext storage in a file or on disk. It is possible to launch the attack on the physical device. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. |
| Valmet DNA user passwords in plain text. This practice poses a security risk as attackers who gain access to local project data can read the passwords. |
| An issue in Annonshop.app DecentralizeJustice/anonymousLocker commit 2b2b4 to ba9fd and DecentralizeJustice/anonBackend commit 57837 to cd815 was discovered to store credentials in plaintext. |
| An issue was discovered in Newland Nquire 1000 Interactive Kiosk version NQ1000-II_G_V1.00.011, allows remote attackers to obtain sensitive information via cleartext credential storage in backup.htm component. |
| A vulnerability has been identified in POWER METER SICAM Q100 (7KG9501-0AA01-0AA1) (All versions >= V2.60 < V2.62), POWER METER SICAM Q100 (7KG9501-0AA01-2AA1) (All versions >= V2.60 < V2.62), POWER METER SICAM Q100 (7KG9501-0AA31-0AA1) (All versions >= V2.60 < V2.62), POWER METER SICAM Q100 (7KG9501-0AA31-2AA1) (All versions >= V2.60 < V2.62), POWER METER SICAM Q200 family (All versions >= V2.70 < V2.80). Affected devices store the password for the SMTP account as plain text. This could allow an authenticated local attacker to extract it and use the configured SMTP service for arbitrary purposes. |
| ToolHive is a utility designed to simplify the deployment and management of Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers. Due to the ordering of code used to start an MCP server container, versions of ToolHive prior to 0.0.33 inadvertently store secrets in the run config files which are used to restart stopped containers. This means that an attacker who has access to the home folder of the user who starts the MCP server can read secrets without needing access to the secrets store itself. This only applies to secrets which were used in containers whose run configs exist at a point in time - other secrets remaining inaccessible. ToolHive 0.0.33 fixes the issue. Some workarounds are available. Stop and delete any running MCP servers, or manually remove any runconfigs from `$HOME/Library/Application Support/toolhive/runconfigs/` (macOS) or `$HOME/.state/toolhive/runconfigs/` (Linux). |
| A vulnerability in the “Backup & Restore” functionality of the web application of ctrlX OS allows a remote authenticated (lowprivileged) attacker to access secret information via multiple crafted HTTP requests. |
| CWE-312: Cleartext Storage of Sensitive Information vulnerability exists that exposes test
credentials in the firmware binary |
| This vulnerability exists in ZKTeco WL20 due to storage of admin and user credentials without encryption in the device firmware. An attacker with physical access could exploit this vulnerability by extracting the firmware and reverse engineer the binary data to access the unencrypted credentials stored in the firmware of targeted device. |
| A flaw was found in the ansible automation platform. An insecure WebSocket connection was being used in installation from the Ansible rulebook EDA server. An attacker that has access to any machine in the CIDR block could download all rulebook data from the WebSocket, resulting in loss of confidentiality and integrity of the system. |
| IPMI credentials may be captured in XCC audit log entries when the account username length is 16 characters. |
| Puwell Cloud Tech Co, Ltd 360Eyes Pro v3.9.5.16(3090516) was discovered to transmit sensitive information in cleartext. This vulnerability allows attackers to intercept and access sensitive information, including users' credentials and password change requests. |
| A flaw has been found in editso fuso up to 1.0.4-beta.7. This affects the function PenetrateRsaAndAesHandshake of the file src/net/penetrate/handshake/mod.rs. This manipulation of the argument priv_key causes inadequate encryption strength. Remote exploitation of the attack is possible. A high degree of complexity is needed for the attack. The exploitability is reported as difficult. |
| Toshiba printers will display the password of the admin user in clear-text and additional passwords when sending 2 specific HTTP requests to the internal API. An attacker stealing the cookie of an admin or abusing a XSS vulnerability can recover this password in clear-text and compromise the printer. This vulnerability can be executed in combination with other vulnerabilities and difficult to execute alone. So, the CVSS score for this vulnerability alone is lower than the score listed in the "Base Score" of this vulnerability.
