CVSS v3.1 |
| A security flaw has been discovered in diem-project diem up to 116974edfb9a5b8bd69cb13586dc62bcdbb485ad. This issue affects the function dmBaseLinkTag::text of the file dmCorePlugin/lib/view/html/link/dmBaseLinkTag.php of the component dmWidget. Performing a manipulation of the argument text results in cross site scripting. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. The exploit has been released to the public and may be used for attacks. This product is using a rolling release to provide continious delivery. Therefore, no version details for affected nor updated releases are available. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet. |
| A vulnerability has been found in diem-project diem up to 116974edfb9a5b8bd69cb13586dc62bcdbb485ad. Affected by this vulnerability is the function html of the file dmAdminPlugin/web/js/dmAdminCtrl.js of the component Version Check Service. The manipulation leads to cross site scripting. Remote exploitation of the attack is possible. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. This product follows a rolling release approach for continuous delivery, so version details for affected or updated releases are not provided. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
netfs: zero gaps in read-gaps folio to avoid writing back stale data
netfs_read_gaps() leaves gaps around a streaming write's dirty region
unread on the server side, so a short/EOF response there left stale
folio content that later got written back.
Zero it after the read completes, not before: netfs_wait_for_read()
returns rreq->transferred once ret >= 0, so build an iterator over the
same bvec array the read used, advance past ret, and zero the rest.
The dirty region already maps to sink pages in that array rather than
the real folio, so this can't touch it, and only the actual shortfall
gets zeroed instead of the whole gap upfront. |
| phpMyFAQ before 4.1.9 and 4.2.0-alpha before 4.2.0-beta does not require the current password when changing an account e-mail in the user control panel (UserController::updateData, api/user/data/update), checking only the session and CSRF token. An attacker with a hijacked session can set the e-mail to their own mailbox and use the password-reset flow to take over non-2FA accounts, including superadmin. |
| phpMyFAQ before 4.1.9 and 4.2.0-alpha before 4.2.0-beta contains an account enumeration vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to confirm registered display names and emails via a distinct HTTP 409 response. Attackers can submit guest comments to the comment create endpoint with candidate user and mail values to link names to emails for targeted phishing. |
| A weakness has been identified in aircheng-org iWebShop-5 up to 5.16. The impacted element is the function IController::redirect of the file plugins/_userInfo/_userInfo.php of the component Login Redirect. This manipulation of the argument callback causes open redirect. The attack can be initiated remotely. The exploit has been made available to the public and could be used for attacks. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drm/nouveau/clk: fix list cursor use after loop in nvkm_clk_ustate_update
If list_for_each_entry() exits without hitting a break then "pstate" is
not a valid pstate pointer. Introduce a "found" variable instead.
The check is reachable from userspace: nvkm_clk_ustate_update() takes the
pstate id straight from the 'pstate' debugfs file, so requesting an id
that is not in clk->states - or any id at all when the perf tables are
broken and the list is empty - makes the pstate->pstate != req test
dereference the list head cast to a struct nvkm_pstate, which is an
out-of-bounds read.

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
xsk: Use a 32-bit compare in xsk_map_gen_lookup
xsk_map_gen_lookup() loads a u32 key and compares it with max_entries
using BPF_JMP_IMM. BPF immediates are sign-extended to 64 bits, so a
max_entries value of 0x80000000 or higher becomes a threshold larger
than every zero-extended 32-bit key. An out-of-range index then skips
the bounds check and the generated lookup reads past xsk_map[].
Compare with BPF_JMP32_IMM so the check stays in 32-bit unsigned range. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
mtd: block2mtd: Fix divide error when erase_size is zero
The erase size is parsed from the "block2mtd" module parameter and can
be set to zero. add_device() then evaluates
if (size % erase_size)
with a zero divisor, which triggers a divide error:
divide error: 0000 [#1] PREEMPT SMP PTI
RIP: 0010:add_device drivers/mtd/devices/block2mtd.c:296 [inline]
RIP: 0010:block2mtd_setup2+0x592/0xda0 drivers/mtd/devices/block2mtd.c:459

Reject a zero erase size before performing the modulo operation so the
existing "erasesize must be a divisor of device size" error path
reports the invalid argument and frees the device. |
| The Post Voting System WordPress plugin through 1.0 does not properly sanitize and escape a parameter before using it in a SQL query, allowing unauthenticated users to perform SQL injection attacks. |
| phpMyFAQ from 4.2.0-alpha.2 before 4.2.0-beta lacks brute-force lockout in the removeTwofactorConfig() 2FA removal endpoint, allowing authenticated attackers to guess TOTP codes without limit. Attackers holding a hijacked session and CSRF token can repeatedly POST guesses to /api/user/remove-twofactor to permanently disable the victim's 2FA. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
eth: fbnic: reset num_napi when the napi vectors are freed
fbn->num_napi is the count of live napi vectors, each of which owns an
IRQ. The PM path had freed them without clearing the count.
fbnic_pm_suspend() tears the datapath down via ndo_stop() and frees the
IRQs, but leaves netif_running() true so resume knows to re-open. Resume
rebuilds the datapath in __fbnic_pm_resume() and fbnic_reset_queues() sets
num_napi and __fbnic_open() re-allocates the vectors.
When the datapath is torn down but never rebuilt, num_napi is left
pointing at freed vectors under 2 different scenarios:
- a PCIe error recovery that fails (fbnic_err_slot_reset() ->
__fbnic_pm_resume() returns an error -> PCI_ERS_RESULT_DISCONNECT), so
.resume never runs; or
- an __fbnic_open() that fails partway on resume and unwinds, freeing
the vectors after fbnic_reset_queues() has already set num_napi.
The netdev is then running with num_napi > 0 but napi[] freed, and the
eventual remove/unbind close re-enters fbnic_down() -> fbnic_dbg_down()
and dereferences the freed vectors:
BUG: kernel NULL pointer dereference, address: 0000000000000210
RIP: fbnic_dbg_down+0x28
Clear num_napi when the vectors are freed: in the suspend teardown (a
good resume re-establishes it before __fbnic_open()) and on the resume
open failure. A redundant ndo_stop() then walks an empty napi[]. The
normal ndo_stop() down/up cycle is untouched and keeps num_napi for the
next ndo_open(). |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
iio: imu: adis16400: fix unprotected debugfs reads
adis16400_serial_number_fops is open coded and never calls
debugfs_file_get(), so debugfs_remove_recursive() does not wait for a
read in progress and unbind frees the iio_dev underneath it.
Commit ae1d37a9bb4b ("iio: imu: adis16400: use DEFINE_DEBUGFS_ATTRIBUTE
instead of DEFINE_SIMPLE_ATTRIBUTE") converted product_id and
flash_count to DEFINE_DEBUGFS_ATTRIBUTE, which protects itself, but
moved all three files to debugfs_create_file_unsafe().
serial_number prints three registers as "%.4x-%.4x-%.4x" and
DEFINE_DEBUGFS_ATTRIBUTE() formats a single u64, so it cannot be
converted without changing what the file returns. adis16475 and
adis16550 already use debugfs_create_file() for their open coded
files. Use it here too. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
smb: client: discard post-EOF pagecache when extending a file via clone range
cifs_remap_file_range() discarded the pagecache only for the folios
overlapping the destination region, so when a clone extends the file the
folio straddling the old EOF - which may hold data dirtied past EOF
through an mmap - was never dropped and became visible as file content
once the file was extended.
Start the discard at the smaller of fstart and the old EOF. i_size is
still old here, so nothing past the old EOF is flushed to the server. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drm/mediatek: Add missing IS_ERR check for ovl_adaptor platform device
platform_device_register_data() can fail and return an ERR_PTR, but the
return value is used without checking, leading to an invalid pointer
being stored in ddp_comp[].dev and passed to component_match_add() and
mtk_ddp_comp_init(), which could result in a kernel crash.
Add an IS_ERR() check to jump to the error handling path on failure. |
| A vulnerability was found in diem-project diem up to 5.1.3. This vulnerability affects unknown code of the file dmCorePlugin/lib/data/dmDataLoad.php. Performing a manipulation results in use of default password. The attack is possible to be carried out remotely. The exploit has been made public and could be used. It is suggested to update the configuration settings. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
KVM: riscv: Fix NACL hfence entry update order
The SBI v3.0 specification (section 15.1.2) requires a nested HFENCE
entry to be populated as follows:
1) find an unused entry with Config.Pending == 0
2) update the Page_Number and Page_Count words
3) update the Config word with Config.Pending set
__kvm_riscv_nacl_hfence() writes the Config word first, so the SBI
implementation (or NACL hardware) can observe a pending entry with
pnum/pcount values left over from the previous use of that entry,
resulting in incorrect TLB flush ranges.
Write pnum and pcount first and the Config word last. Since the
consumer is an external agent on coherent shared memory, use
WRITE_ONCE() to stop the compiler from reordering the stores and
smp_wmb() to make the parameter words globally visible before the
Pending bit is set. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
iio: proximity: pulsedlight: fix iio_device left registered on PM setup failure
pm_runtime_set_active() failing in probe() jumps to error_unreg_buffer,
which only calls iio_triggered_buffer_cleanup() -- it does not undo the
iio_device_register() that already succeeded a few lines above. probe()
then returns the error, the devm-managed indio_dev is freed, but the
iio core still has it registered: the sysfs/chardev nodes stay live and
point at freed memory.
Add an error_unreg_dev label that unregisters the iio device before
falling through to the existing buffer cleanup, mirroring the teardown
order already used in lidar_remove(). |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
iio: light: rohm-bu27034: Fix infinite delay on error
When reading an integration-time fails, the code will use error code to
compute the sleep time.
Fix this by using the smallest integration time as a default if
reading fails. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
iio: adc: ad4030: fix invalid oversampling_ratio validation
In ad4030_set_avg_frame_len(), the logarithm is calculated before input
validation. Passing zero or negative values leads to an undefined result
from ilog2().
Validate that the input is strictly positive prior to computing its
logarithm. |
